Champions Dinner Party and Fundraiser
Each year Yuvish Singh takes a break from his busy golf schedule to raise funds for the true champions of the world – disadvantaged children. The Champions Dinner Party and Fundraiser for the benefit of UNICEF is truly a remarkable event that should be on you social calendar. The sheer ambiance of Lionhead Golf and Country Club with its pristine championship golf courses will remind you that Champions dine here in the true tradition of golf. Corporations have seen this event as a way to entertain their clients whilst living up to their corporate responsibility of giving back to society.
The first dinner was held in March 18th 2007 and was sold out. This event was a special moment for Yuvish Singh. At the age of 10 he received a standing ovation when he delivered a speech, launching his birdies for the children fundraising campaign and his partnership with UNICEF Canada. We invite you to join our distinguished guests for a fun filled evening of fine dining and dancing to a live band.
The Champions Dinner is where golfers and their families come together and enjoy the tranquility of the evening and celebrate the start of spring and a new golf season. Here there are no modest winners or graceful losers but feel free to brag about your great shots that even Tiger would have been proud of. So whether you are a “Tiger” or a “Hacker” enjoy yourself just the same, after all no matter how bad your last season was – there is always hope for a better season.
